“Measure, Measure, Measure. The Accutron Airflow measuring devices allows for real time airflow monitoring of drifts, fans, and ventilation ducting. This real time information is critical data to ensure the health and safety of the workforce underground, when implementing a ventilation automation solution. Currently we have deployed many Accutron Plus Airflow monitors successfully at the Nickel Rim South Mine – Optimized Mine Ventilation on Demand Project”

"The use of Accutron Airflow sensors greatly help the Garpenberg mine to monitor the ventilation in the drifts at their major ore body. The first sensors have been running for over a year and all sensors are performing very well. The sensors are connected to the ABB 800xA control system. The Garpenberg mine in Sweden produces 1.4 Mtons of zink ore per year.”

“We have over 40 Accutron flow meters at Goldcorp Red Lake Mines. Numerous main and booster fans have “in duct” installations along with “drift” installations strategically located to monitor flows at main splits. The units have been found to be very reliable with virtually no maintenance and only infrequent calibration required. Data from these flow meters are linked to a remote monitoring system on surface. In addition to being able to “virtually” view our ventilation systems live, they give us the advantage when making changes to the system during upgrades, seasonal variation adjustments and during fan failures or other ventilation upset periods.”
